PMDC Manifesto to be unveiled in Kenema
Although the executive of the People’s Movement for Democratic Change has been largely silent about the circumstances surrounding the recent violence in Kailahun that followed the visit to Kailahun of the PMDC Leader, Lawyer Charles Margai, they are however expected to use the formal launching of their Party Manifesto today as a podium to address the issue.

Statement on gun shot fired at Charles Margai -PMDC presidential candidate.
The report coming from Sierra Leone of a gun shot fired at Charles Margai, the PMDC presidential candidate during his campaign tour in Kailahun, allegedly involving Mr Patrick Foya, Sierra Leone ambassador to Liberia, must be perceived as a dangerous escalation of political violence that has the potential to undo the already fragile peace.

History Alive! (Part 3) A REACTION TO ERNEST KOROMA’S RECENT “POLICY STATEMENT”
In this third part of my ongoing civic assignment, I will continue my painful but necessary journey down memory lane. In Part 2 of History Alive, I pointed out, among other things, how the APC in a desperate attempt to win votes especially from the northern region, introduced another dangerous element into the national political debate, namely, the politics of ethnicity (tribalism). In this third piece, I will demonstrate clearly why the APC should not be trusted again, because the party has never kept its pledge to the people of Sierra Leone.

As President Kabbah Sheds Bitter Tears over Violence... War Erupts in Kailahun!
Reports monitored from Kailahun indicate that an all out war has been declared between stalwarts of the People’s Movement for Democratic Change (PMDC) and the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP). This state of events follows the recent visit to the district of the PMDC Leader, Lawyer Charles Margai which ended with intolerance, violence and damage to properties in Kailahun town.

APC, Ernest Koroma, & the Rebirth of Ekutay
It has been argued in various quarters that Ernest Koroma has been dishonest all along when he said the APC party is new and that he is trying to change the image of the party. When Ernest Koroma started his campaign, he preached change and forward looking agenda.

Freetown the capital city of Sierra Leone descended into lawlessness on the 11th July, when APC supporters took to the main streets with offensive songs against Tejan Kabbah, Berewa and the SLPP. The All People’s Congress (APC) Party Manifesto launched yesterday by the Leader and Presidential flagbearer Hon. Nothing Can Vindicate the APC
I am amused by Daymia (brother-in-law) E.T. Kamara’s rhetorical song and dance as he tries to put a spin on the APC’s (alias the All Peoples Caboodle) record. In his first submission to Cocorioko, he blamed the SLPP for all the evils of the APC. As if that was not sufficiently insulting to the intelligence of the people of Sierra Leone who suffered (and continue to suffer) immensely because of the almost two-and-half decades of APC misrule, Daymia now claims that events subsequent to the APC’s accession to power vindicate the APC.
