Whilst apparently blaming the entire political society for the glaring failure to fight corruption in Sierra Leone, Tejan-Cole does not hesitate to clarify further his singular admiration for Koroma by lecturing that Political Will was not limited to only President Koromas will but that of all political actors. Continuing still on the issue, Tejan-Cole reportedly said without the wide political will, Governments statements against corruption will be empty rhetoric but then, he went on to commend the APC-led Parliament and the APC Leader, President Koroma for their courage in enacting the Anti-Corruption Act of 2008 and National Anti-Corruption Strategy.

Sierra Leone Opposition Leader Breaks Silence on NPRC Coup & Executions
John Benjamin was only 39 years old when he risked his life and that of his young family to succeed in doing what numerous others had fruitlessly tried but though he was relatively young in age, he was already the Managing Director of an international Computer company with oversight for a significant chunk of the West African subregion. He was well traveled internationally and experienced in worldly matters and thus able to effectively analyse and debunk shady projects and proposals that his youthful colleague NPRC soldiers might have otherwise endorsed. As a result, he stepped on a lot of powerful toes and a plan was developed to have John Benjamin not only removed as Chief Secretary of State but relegated to a non-Cabinet status and with practically no say in any of the running of the affairs of State. So it was that at the time of the December 1992 executions, Benjamin had been sacked several weeks before; ostensibly over an incident at Njala University campus which had been blown out of proportions in order to have his detractors succeed in removing him as Chief Secretary.

SLPP Condemns NPPA Silence Over Ojukokoro GST Receipt Deal
An Ojukokoro in the local Sierra Leone parlance, is a shameless thief so much so that no-one likes to be associated with such or to be labeled as such and all efforts are usually made to explain ones innocence in Ojukokoro allegations. This is why many eyebrows have been raised when it is learnt that Professor Alfred Kandeh, Chief Executive of Sierra Leones National Public Procurement Authority (NPPA) has evaded a request for him to comment on a US$9.6 million National Revenue Authoritys topical Ojukokoro mucky deal with Jospong Printing Company in Ghana for the printing of GST tax receipt books. Kandehs silence is even as scores of government officials continue to try to launder themselves so as to cease receiving the wrath of Public accusation over the matter.
