Solo-B Wins Margai as Sierra Leone Supreme Court removes last hurdle to Presidency!
Our Monitoring of Sierra Leone's South East especially Eastern Kono and the Northern Province, indicate that the Hon. Vice President Solomon Ekuma Berewa is all set to win the August 11th Elections and be Sierra Leone’s next President. Additionally, probably the last hurdle on the road to his Presidential ascendancy was removed last Friday, after the Supreme Court of Sierra Leone rendered a Ruling declaring that the objections raised to Berewa’s candidacy by Opposition Leader Charles Margai were not valid and dismissed them.

Supreme Court of Sierra Leone finally delivers whether Solomon Berewa is eligible to contest the Presidency
Three of Sierra Leone's Supreme Court Judges including the Lord Chief Justice have finally delivered a ruling as to whether the sitting Vice President of Sierra Leone is eligible to contest for the Presidency. Sierra Leone born Justice Rosolu John Bankole Thompson yesterday August 2nd 2007, again delivered a dissenting opinion from his colleague foreign judges sitting in Trial Chamber I of the Special Court for Sierra Leone (SCSL) during the issuing of judgement in the joint trial of Moinina Fofana and Allieu Kondewa, the alleged former leaders of the Civil Defense Force(CDF).
