Solo-B Wins Margai as Sierra Leone Supreme Court removes last hurdle to Presidency!
Our Monitoring of Sierra Leone's South East especially Eastern Kono and the Northern Province, indicate that the Hon. Vice President Solomon Ekuma Berewa is all set to win the August 11th Elections and be Sierra Leone’s next President. Additionally, probably the last hurdle on the road to his Presidential ascendancy was removed last Friday, after the Supreme Court of Sierra Leone rendered a Ruling declaring that the objections raised to Berewa’s candidacy by Opposition Leader Charles Margai were not valid and dismissed them.

History Alive! (Part 4) A Reaction to Ernest Koroma’s Recent “Policy Statement”
In Part 3 of History Alive we showed how morally bankrupt the APC was; the party had little regard for the Constitution, the rule of law and the people of Sierra Leone, from whom it was expected to derive its legitimacy. For instance, the APC transformed Sierra Leone into a republic on 19th April 1971 without the endorsement of the electorate as provided for in the Constitution. Siaka Stevens had "justified" their unconstitutional action by saying:

"Tom is not a killer" - Former Sierra Leone Bodyguard to Nyuma
He further went on to say “Chief”......as that is the way they call me; “your man Tom has a problem. But we have settled it. The situation is now under control.” Then he told me to hold on and talk to the Pa. I was expecting Tom’s voice. But the person announced himself to me as Ernest Bai Koroma... and that he has just been told that I am one of Tom Nyuma’s main boys. So he was calling to tell me that all is now settled and that I should also talk to Tom.

Sierra Leone's Milton Margai Choir Brings Sunshine To Britain
The Milton Margai School for the Blind Choir brought warmth and sunshine to a cold, rain-drenched Britain as they kicked off their 2007 Freedom Tour, “Sing Freetown”, with a stunning concert in Canterbury Cathedral. Nearly 600 people packed into the magnificant thousand year old cathedral to accompany the 25 strong Choir on its musical journey from the freed slaves who gathered around the Cotton Tree in Freetown over 200 years ago, through independence and the horrors of the rebel war, to the hopes for the future as Sierra Leone continues on its path of peace and democracy.

Puawui Column: The Picture Is Emerging Quite Rapidly in Sierra Leone
According to the editor of Standard Times newspaper, and contrary to all reliable accounts, Tom Nyuma was most probably in that Bo Hotel with no other motive but to assassinate the APC Leader Ernest Bai Koroma. Unlike other journals, the Standard Times has justified America’s action in deporting Nyuma, and presents his account of event in a way that wraps Tom Nyuma in as a would-be assassin.

Ernest Koroma: Beneficiary of Corruption & Intrigues in Sierra Leone or a centurion for an old APC clique?
I consider myself a member of the APC, and I still believe in the core ideals of the APC. But I do not believe in a leadership that continues to deceive the people of Sierra Leone with pretences that it is unblemished. I also do not believe that the APC leadership should make grand promises which it knows it will not fulfill in four years.
