Opposition SLPP Member of Parliament for Constituency 2 in the Kailahun District, Hon. Jina James Musa has embarked on the re-construction of the Potoru/Bomaru feeder road.
Speaking to this press, Hon. Musa said the reason for undertaking that arduous venture is to make Bomaru more accessible to other parts of the district, being a strategic border town between Sierra Leone and Liberia. "As an agriculturally viable town, the people are most often faced with the dilemma of transporting their produce to Pendembu, the chiefdom headquarter town, he informed.
The determined MP said funding is one of the challenges facing the project. He however spoke of plans to approach the Kailahun District Council for both material and financial assistance to accomplish what he called a wonderful. "I want my people to understand that whatever I undertake in this constituency is out of my own initiative," he told our reporter.
He called on his people to continue to corporate with him for the construction of the road as an important component for the development of the constituency.
