The ruling APC party, through Vice President Alhaji Chief Sam Sumana, has outlined series of successes of his boss, H.E. President Ernest Koroma following which he appealed to Sierra Leoneans to give the APC more time to develop the country by voting in APC come 2012. He said the APC needs to continue the developmental projects they have started to change the face of Sierra Leone. VP Sam Sumana said this on Sunday September 18, 2011 at the National Stadium in Freetown.
The Vice President was speaking at the Thanksgiving Service organised by the APC party to give thanks to God after four years in governance.
“Very soon Sierra Leone will be giving alms instead of receiving alms. President Ernest Koroma is a God sent architect to develop this country, so for him to succeed he must be given all the time he needs. His government wants to change the identity of Sierra Leone, by making it a well defined country that will make us all proud to be Sierra Leoneans,” the VP noted.
He said the APC government’s dream needs time to be actualised, so for this, he is appealing to all Sierra Leoneans to give President Koroma another term as he is our Prophet Moses whom God sent to take this country to the promised land. He said within their four years in governance God has excelled and exalted Sierra Leone and for that they are grateful.
