Trade Minister, Alimamy Petito Koroma on Wednesday October 15, 2008 presented a shop worth Le30 million to Amie Tikpoh Jusu, the winner of Zain-Sierra Leone’s "Start A Shop" Promotion.

The Minister says Zain has a reliable network with the widest coverage across the country.

"What they have done today has added more steps to their mountain of success in this country," the Minister said while formally presenting the Le30 million worth shop to the lucky subscriber.
The winner, Amie Tikpoh Jusu expressed appreciation to Zain for turning her life around.
She called on other Sierra Leoneans to join Zain’s network of subscribers.
Zain’s Managing Director, Mr. Ted Sautiphiri says the company’s "Start A Shop" promotion was launched by the Minister in June of this year.
He says the promotion is part of the core values that the company stands for.
"It also part of our corporate responsibility to the people of this country," Mr. Sautiphiri said, adding that Zain is not only gearing at providing the best network for its subscribers, but also developing their lives.
He says Zain will continue to introduce more promotions for the people of this country, while disclosing that Amie Tikpoh Jusu is the first to win the "Start A Shop" promotion.
Her shop is located at 22 Sackville Street in Freetown with the name "God’s Will Enterprise" filled with twenty million Leones worth of white grain bags of 50kg rice, a cheque of five million Leones as start-up capital plus a year rent paid for her by Zain.
