DFID DONATES VEHICLES TO PROMOTE SIERRA LEONEíS
PUBLIC SECTOR REFORM

The British Department for International Development DFID past Tuesday 2 December handed over three vehicles to the Public Sector Reform Unit (PSRU) as their contribution towards reforming the public sector.

Handing over the vehicles to the recipient, the Head of the Civil Service, Mr. George Pessima and Head of Human Resource Management Office (HRMO), Mr. Ernest Surrur, at a brief ceremony, the Director PSRU, Dr. Julius Sandy expressing his happiness for the donation noting that the gesture will strengthen the respective departmentís capacity in delivering efficient and effective service.

The delivery is part of DFIDís support to the government of Sierra Leone in promoting good governance by ensuring efficient, effective and timely service delivery in the public service.

Mr. Pessima and Mr. Surrur thanked DFID for the support promising to judiciously use the vehicles to enhance their respective duties.

The Public Sector Reform Unit, Cabinet Secretariat and the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) were the proud recipients of the three vehicles.
