It on Tuesday 9th December 2008 pleased His Excellency the President to make formal appointment of various positions to run the affairs of the novel institution, Attitudinal and Behavioral Change campaign. Three key executive position were formally approved by the president, that of director, national coordinator and public relations officer.

The position of directorship was given to Mr. Philip Conteh, who now has the official mandate to direct the affairs of the secretariat. Mohamed Bangura, the Publicity Secretary of the PMDC was approved as the National Coordinator, whilst Alieu Kamara becomes the official spokesman and PRO for Attitudinal and Behavioral Change (ABC) campaign. The confirmation ceremony took place at State House, in the presence of government dignitaries and other party heavy weights.
In his statement before the confirmation, President Koroma urged the appointees to take their responsibilities seriously as the entire nation looks up to them. "In changing oneís attitude, we must be seen to demonstrate it from the top. That is why gentlemen, I have deliberately chosen you as young and enterprising people to take this challenge in building our society," he said amidst applause.
Before taking oath of office, the three gentlemen thanked the president for his kind consideration. As political activists, they all acknowledged that attitude is everything, one that can easily do or undo a state. They therefore promised to do all in their power to carryout their sacred duties to the satisfaction of government and for the prosperity of the nation.
