Central Mosque Jamaat on Friday 12th December 2008 offered a special prayer for members of the musical club, ĎDry Eye Crewí. This group is one of the biggest musical groups in Sierra Leone, inclusive of Baw Waw Society, Pupa Baja and Jungle Leaders.

Offering the prayers, the Chief Imam of Central Mosque, Sheik Tejan Sillah described the group as doing good work in the music industry as youths to bring change in the country through music. He encouraged them to continue the hard work as by Godís grace they might prosper. Five minutes special quranic recitations from notable verses were offered for them.
The group is about to launch a big time album titled ĎIndependent Hustlerí on the 24th December 2008 at the National Stadium Main Bowl, Brookfileds.
Independent Hustlerís comprises inspirational musical lyrics that teach the youth to be independent and try to take up responsibility and stop depending on others.
In another development, Dry Eye Crew visited Alimany Kargboís family in the east end of Freetown who was stabbed to death on Monday 7th December 2008 whilst strongly arguing in the groupís favour. The crew expressed their unreserved condolence to the bereaved family of the SSSII Saint Edwards Secondary School boy.
