According to the particulars of offence, the accused on Monday 2nd February 2009 at Cemetery Road Hamilton village, sexually abused a 10-year old girl, leading to her death.

The accused was not allowed to take any plea, as the presiding magistrate ordered that he be remanded at the Pademba Road Maximum Prison.

The matter was adjourned to 19th February.

The deceased was a class three (3) pupil attending the Sengbeh Pieh Primary School at Hamilton.

In another development, Ibrahim Kargbo, Osman Samura, Mohamed Pessima and Mohamed Kamara on Saturday 7th February 2009 at Grafton, New Site, were caught with items believed to be illegal.

They are reported to have been in possession of four (4) outer tyres and selling Class C drugs without license and also with a 14 inches television.

The four men were arraigned yesterday before Magistrate Steven Conteh. Three of the accused pleaded guilty as charged, while the fourth flatly denied the allegations.
