A threat uttered yesterday February 12th 2009 by Abdul Tejan Cole, the Commissioner of the Anti Corruption Commission (ACC), over the BBC Early Morning News Service, that he will soon be forced to arrest sitting Cabinet Ministers for failing to declare their assets has yielded dividend as the ACC was yesterday the recipient of a flurry of activities that saw minister after minister rush to submit in their signed assets forms.

Abdul Tejan Cole’s BBC interview had been followed by the publication yesterday by one of the leading daily tabloids of a lengthy list of names of errant Cabinet ministers.

However, by the close of day yesterday, sources at the ACC released an updated list of names of those who had complied with the directives as mandated by the ACC Act of 2008. The list of those who have complied so far follows. A comparison of this list below with that published yesterday in local tabloids will reveal just who and who are the errant APC Cabinet Ministers who rushed to the ACC yesterday in a bid to provide cover for themselves from being arrested.

Cabinet Ministers and Deputies who have declared their assets as at yesterday 12th February 2009:

H.E. Ernest Bai Koroma - President,
