This piece is going to be short. I am writing it down shortly after I finished reading PEL KOROMAís article on Page 2 of yesterdayís Concord Times newspaper. My Brother PEL KOROMAís assertions are interestingly revealing and have clearly shown that some SLPP members plan to proverbially cut off their nose to spite their face.
Kabbah & Berewa left a solid legacy for SLPP to market itself with but spite, malice, old grudges, wickedness, selfishness & hatred might kill SLPPís chances of success.
PEL KOROMA has caused me to pen down this message to my brethren in SLPP, especially the delegates at this upcoming SLPP Convention. If delegates become lackeys at the hands of a willful, selfish, tiny bunch of self-destructive members because of undue, innate bitterness, let them realise two things:
** Some of us will ensure that generations, some yet unborn, know just who it were, whom out of spite, malice, grudges, wickedness, selfishness, hatred (& GREED) possibly killed the SLPPís chances of successfully coming back to power in the near future; and by extension, we will record down why the ruling APC party was left to have a field day in a political climate devoid of any worthy opposition.
** If indeed, as PEL KOROMA reveals, some of your very capable members will be made to lose National Executive positions despite their obvious leadership edge over other contenders, simply because of nothing other than revengeful bitterness, then it means those who have accused SLPP of being a "badheart" party will be right afterall. Many of us, who have admired the SLPP from afar, to the extent that we have personally risked a lot to state the truth for SLPP, will come to the very sad realisation that the SLPP membership is actually made up of a majority of negative vengeful thinkers whom we certainly will not wish to defend or fight for.
Some of us keenly await the outcome of this weekendís Convention. Our pens are inked to write History... LONTA!
