Zain(SL) Ltd, one of Sierra Leoneís leading GSM Mobile phone company, last week launched a fantastic promotional known as the 100 Units Unlimited Bonanza, which has gotten mobile phone users thrilled to bits. A random survey of users of Zain network by this presshouse has revealed that the Bonanza which enables Zain customers to talk for unlimited periods to other Zain customers between the hours of 7am-7pm, is one of the best promotions to ever be launched by a phone company in Sierra Leone.
One of Sierra Leoneís most prominent journalists is Umaru Fofana, President of the local Journalists Association and the BBCís Correspondent in country. He confirmed to this newspaper thus: "Zainís unlimited service has greatly enhanced my work as a journalist and saved me extra cash. I hope it stays."
A very senior Government functionary categorically told this writer that the combination of the 100-Units Bonanza and the Le40,000 phone promotions had greatly empowered his Governmentís communication facilities. He however declined to be named in this piece as he did not want his words to be interpreted as an endorsement of one mobile company over another but he was full of praises for the Bonanza.
For John Benjamin, the Opposition Leader, he was not at all hesistant to confirm that he had saved "a whole bunch of money" because the Unlimited Talk Bonanza had reduced the money he spent daily making calls to his nationwide supporters.
To benefit from the 100-Units Bonanza, just dial *400# on your phone at any time of the day and spend that whole day from 7am till 7pm calling any Zain number for free. The *400# call will deduct 100 units from your prepaid credit and nothing else. Calls made after 7pm in the evening will be billed at the normal rate. It is a money-saver!
