Why Hound Eddie Turay?

It is now crystal clear to many independently minded political observers that the sudden vicious attacks on Honourable Eddie Turay following the parliamentary presentation of the PMDC Cabinet Minister Dr. Dennis Sandy, is part of a larger ploy by certain APC members and non-APC persons, to humiliate an honourable gentleman who, since 1995, has proved beyond all reasonable doubt that he loves All Peoples Congress (APC) more than many of the pretenders, opportunists and Johnny-Just-Comes into that their party.

I have looked in depth at the land documents tendered and also read and re-read all the commentaries and opinions against Hon. Eddie Turay and I honestly do not understand what the aggravated noise is all about.

It is not lost on some of us that Hon. Eddie Turay has many enemies within and outside the APC who will love to see him disgraced, cast aside and disregarded. However, knowing what some of us know about the truly patriotic APC members, we will be hard-pressed to sit by idly and watch them tear a good man to pieces.

I carry no extraordinary brief for Hon. Eddie Turay whom I have not interacted with on a political level for over ten good years now since those my days of political activism in Washington DC. However, I do know when a man is being subjected to undue BULLYING.

Those who think they can get away with the undue bullying of Hon. Eddie Turay should know that some of us political commentators have our pens inked and ready to defend him, free of charge. If you have solid reasons for criticizing Hon. Eddie Turay, then come up with them and some of us might even join you to criticize him. For now, all what you are saying against the gentleman is nothing but wishy-washy nonsense. All fluff and no substance.

If you want to sideline Hon. Eddie Turay, find another legitimate means of doing so. This method of trying to hound him out of his position as Majority Leader is just too shamefully transparent to many of us observers.
