The Honourable Vice President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Alhaji Chief Sahr Sam-Sumana has yesterday opened a condolence book at the Nigerian High Commission in Freetown so as to allow Sierra Leoneans to sign in words of condolence on the death of the late President of Nigeria, Umaru Musa YaAdua. Sierra Leones President Koroma is on an official visit to China so he was absent from the country when news broke that his Nigerian brother and colleague Head of State had passed away in the night of Wednesday 5th May 2010. However, Vice President Sam-Sumana capably stepped in to provide the leadership that was needed as Sierra Leoneans joined Nigeria to mourn the loss of the 58 year old late President.
