In the local Creole parlance, ‘Kalo-Kalo’ refers to an attempt to pass on a supposedly tangible development to an audience but the audience is left unimpressed with your attempt. This recent Cabinet Reshuffle as announced past weekend, is being described as a Kalo-Kalo Cabinet Reshuffle. Following a much hyped-up expected reshuffle of major significance, Sierra Leoneans have been subjected to a Cabinet still dominated by 70% ministers with Northern origins & only one Easterner (J.B. Dauda) included in Cabinet whilst Cabinet deadwood who were expected to be removed were maintained & shuffled around like in a musical chairs game.
