The Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Hon. Raymond I Kabia, on Sunday 20th March, 2011 launched the Anti-Violence Movement at Kingtom, Freetown.

Talking to different gang groups, Hon. Raymond Kabia said as violence tends to rock the country, they have embarked on sensitizing youths on the dangers of violence. He said as chairman of the movement, he was going to find ways to be always bringing young people together through football competitions and other sporting activities.

The minister used the forum to advise the youth to be very mindful of what they do as they are leaders of tomorrow.

You will lead the country tomorrow so you need to be responsible people in society by handling yourselves well and totally denouncing violence, he admonished.

The Director, Anti Violence Movement, Bernard Conteh, also advised his colleagues to desist from violence and to help each other from problems.
