Africell has just concluded the Moni na Wi Domot promotion in the provinces and the Gentri  Na Wi Domot promotion in Freetown in flying colours. Africell has continued to send messages to their many valuable subscribers, a marketing  strategy that has made subscribers feel like living in the seventh sky.

Africell is Sierra Leones leading GSM Communication Company. On Sunday September 25, 2011 Africell organised to bring together subscribers and friends to celebrate in a grand style. Every one present enjoyed the festivities that took place at the Alafia Point Garden and the Lumley Beach in Freetown.

People who bought at least one hundred units did not only stand a chance to become winners in the Gentri Na Wi Domot promotion, they are also assured of using the purchased units to make calls.

The Africells Head of Events and Sponsorships, Arthur Bockarie Kallon, noted that with Africell everyone is a winner.

Mr. Kallon said the company will continue to provide quality and affordable communication service to its subscribers. Management and staff of the company have demonstrated a great stewardship that has placed the company to be the most reliable and affordable communication network in Sierra Leone.

While some are saying that Africell is a poor mans friend, others are calling it the big brother in GSM. The company belongs to a very large family that is full of communication excitements that are compounded with low tariff offer at local and international destinations, quality network, unbeatable promotions that are geared towards poverty reduction, and wide range of support in various sectors in line with the companys Corporate Social Responsibilities.

Willimina John (Willi J) takes the Africell stage

These moves have made Africell to come even closer to the people.

After taking lots of attractive prizes at the door steps of subscribers in the just concluded Gentri Na Wi Domot promotion in Freetown, the Lumley Beach fiesta has rewarded more subscribers for their loyalty to Africell.

The Africell promotion was climaxed with the performances of Sierra Leones finest artists like Yusuf Osayoh Kamara (YOK7); Willimina John (Willi J); Africells star Michael Lamin Kargbo; Succulent; Scorpion; the Free Flow Comedians; the Sierra Leone Dance Troop and so on.

They patronised with Africell because of its support to the music industry in Sierra Leone. During the two months promotion, most Sierra Leone artists were paid for live performances in the locations where the draws were held.

Africells Media Relations Supervisor, Tom Terry Coker said Africell is in Sierra Leone to stay, and will not relent in providing unbeatable offers to their subscribers and the country as a whole. He said the end of the two months, does not mean they are folding up their offers to subscribers. He urged their subscribers to stay connected soon as Africell will be launching another promotion that will continue until Christmas time. He advised those that are not yet onboard the network to make haste so that they benefit from the current and coming opportunities.  Mr. Coker said Africell believes in team work and it is this spirit they are taking down to their loyal subscribers.

The Adviser of Friends of Africell in the Media commended the management and staff of the company for sharing their little profits with subscribers through promotions that is also contributing to national development.
