Passengers Damn Drivers Strike Action

Passengers in the east end of Freetown have condemned the strike action taken by drivers plying that route. The passengers described the action as lawless, noting that they would have used other means to address their concerns rather than putting up a strike action. Drivers in that part of the city in the early hours of Monday 18th June 2012 deserted the roads in protest of what they referred to as continuous police harassment on them.
