HRH Prince Al Waleed Bin Talal
His Royal Highness (HRH) Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia is scheduled to visit Sierra Leone today 10th June, 2013 upon the invitation by Sierra Leone President, His Excellency Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma who will be decorating the celebrated Prince with the highest possible national order of this West African country. At end of his visit today, Prince Alwaleed bin Talal will leave here as a Grand Commander of the Order of the Republic of Sierra Leone (GCRSL).

Prince Alwaleed is The Richest Arab

HRH Prince Alwaleed is Chairman of Kingdom Holding Company (KHC). He is the undisputed richest Arab in the world today according to Arabian Business Magazine, Forbes Magazine and Bloomberg Financial news service. His wealth lists as around 30 billion dollars.

Sierra Leone Saudi Relationship very cordial

The warm friendship that Sierra Leone and Saudi Arabia have enjoyed spanned from 1970s, when both countries signed a bilateral relationship. The Saudi billionaires visit to Sierra Leone would further strengthen the cooperation that exist between the two countries and peoples. The President & the Prince are expected to discuss social and economic issues of mutual interest, and the bilateral relationship between their respective countries as well as the potential opportunities for HRH Prince Alwaleed to develop and grow his investments in Sierra Leone.

The billionaire Prince, who is quite investment savvy, is a Western trained businessman. He is a man who has huge investments in almost every nook of the world; he is a man who is ready to invest in whatever legal form of project that he believes can yield dividends; and he is a man who is so compassionate about the abject poverty of nations of the developing countries. He has investments in Africa in various sectors. With the vast potential Sierra Leone has, the KHC Chairman may grab the opportunity to heavily invest.

H.R.H. Prince Charles of Great Britain and H.R.H. Prince Al-Waleed of Saudi Arabia have shown positive attention towards Sierra Leone in recent times

Sierra Leone a business friendly country

Sierra Leone has become a choice place to do business and its potentials are getting better every day. Governor of the Central Bank, Sheku Sambadeen Sesay is proud of the recent huge leap in the country's rankings by the World Bank with the upbeat prediction that Sierra Leone will move even higher in the table in the coming years to be among the top performers in sub-Saharan Africa. He insists signs are visible and President Koromas administration is so serious about transforming Sierra Leone that the country climbed 20 places in the World Banks annual business activities rankings in the last five years, and have also made the country one of the top 5 countries in Sub-Saharan African for investor protection.

Britains HRH Prince Charles
- Also a Friend of Sierra Leone

Sierra Leones potentials for trade and industrial activities were highlighted by leaders from all over the world at the Sierra Leone Trade and Investment Forum held in London in 2009 and attended by HRH Prince Charles, a friend of Sierra Leone. As former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, another friend of Sierra Leone, explained at the forum, "Sierra Leone has massive natural resources and wonderful possibilities commercially in agriculture, tourism, mining and other sectors. In addition, for the first time, it has a stable government with a president who genuinely wants to make positive changes in his country and root out corruption."

H.E. President Koroma is shown here in recent times as he socialises with H.R.H. Prince Charles of Great Britain. President Koroma will today in Sierra Leone, be playing host to HRH Prince Al-Waleed of Saudi Arabia.

Foreign investment success stories in Sierra Leone

According to widely read European Times, foreign investors operating in Sierra Leone have demonstrated the countrys potential including French petrol giant Total, Heidelberg cement, the global AP Moller-Maersk group, Switzerland based Addax & Oryx Group, African Minerals Ltd, London Mining Company and more. Past five years have seen rapid development in Sierra Leone thanks to a shrewd business mentality of President Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma, who told Sierra Leoneans in his 2007 presidential campaign that, if elected, he would run Sierra Leone like a business entity. Today, the rapid development that is taking place is totally unprecedented. Little wonder that foreign investors are coming to Sierra Leone in droves as all necessary economic strategies have been put in place to make the country very business friendly. The Saudi Prince is most welcomed today as he visits our beautiful Sierra Leone.
