Whether a despot wields a gun or wields a pen, a despot is a despot. In any civilised and orderly society, only Criminals and those with skeletons in their cupboard are afraid of despots wielding pens and calling themselves to be journalists. Under the visionary leadership of His Excellency the President, Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma, Sierra Leone is currently a civilised country with bright democratic tenets so none of its citizens will be held in fear of any despot - whether the despot wields a gun or wields a pen.

No journalistic politician or political journalist should be allowed to blackmail Sierra Leone citizens into submitting to their dangerous whims and caprices that have the potential to re-engulf the country in another pogrom. We will protect this land from them.

Let me here advise all senior government functionaries with skeletons in their cupboards or who are engaged in criminal activities that make them live in fear of journalists to simply resign as the procedures are about to begin to restore sanity into our polity.

So, if you na man or woman way dey frade Salone journalist dem en you hold big government position, na for resign wan tem.

Me, I have no skeleton in my cupboard and I am not a criminal so I fear no journalist in Sierra Leone. Sierra Leone must and we WILL apply Part 5 of the Public Order Act of 1965. Enough is enough.
