A recent article on coverage of Africell in Gbinti, which was written by Alpha Bedor of New Citizen, erroneously attributed a false report to Independent Observer editted by the proven criminal Jonathan Leigh. We wish to apologise to Mr. Leigh for using Bedors article. Apologising if you make a mistake is always the professional thing to do. That is why you will not find a criminal at Awareness Times because we are professional in how we manage our media responsibilities and we do not engage in criminal behaviours. If you commit statutory crimes like for example, maliciously revealing a rape victims identity over your radio programme, you are, by any English Dictionary definition, a criminal; even if you are not a convicted criminal. So, we continue to urge notorious criminals like David Tam Baryoh  and Leigh to stop abusing their media privileges. For example, it is just plain criminal to accuse a newspaper owner over an article you very well know she did not write nor submit.
