Sierra Leone News: Africell Offers Le500 Million to Subscribers

One of the leading telecommunications companies in Sierra Leone, Africell Lintel Limited, has yesterday 7th April 2014 offers Five Hundred Million Leones free for its subscribers to win and better their lives and those of their family members.

 

The company yesterday launches a new promotion code named; CRAZY CASH at its headquarters in Wilberforce, Freetown.

Speaking on the promotion, the companys Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, Joe Abass Bangura said Crazy Cash is just another innovative promotion by Africell as it has always been. He said As we all gear up to celebrate our Nations 53rd Independence Anniversary, Africell is pleased to officially launch the new promotion. He said the promotion is called Crazy Cash because the level of generosity displayed it this promotion does not make sense to the ordinary mind.

 

He said the promotion will offer one lucky subscriber Le.10,000,000 (Ten Million Leones) on a daily basis from Monday 7th April and will run till Sunday 4th May this year.

According to Mr. Bangura, to qualify for the daily draws, the Africell subscriber needs to recharge their phones with 100 units. He said this will give them one chance in the daily electronic draws and that every additional 100 units recharged, equals to one more chance. He said this means that the more you recharge, the greater your chances to win.

 

He said where in a subscriber recharges in 25 units and 50 units will be accumulated until it reaches 100 units to qualify for one chance. The recharge period to be covered by each daily draw, Mr. Bangura revealed, will be from midnight of the previous day to 11:00pm of the current day and that if a Subscriber wants to know how many chances he/she has got for the day, he/she should send a blank message to 966.

 

He said the show will be broadcast live on Sierra Leone Broadcasting Corporation (SLBC) TV from 10:30pm to 11:00pm daily; with simultaneous broadcasts on Africa Independent Radio F.M. 105.3 and other major radio stations nationwide.

The Chief Corporate Affairs Officer reminded winners and members of the media that the Finance Act 2008 states that all Lottery winnings from Le500,000 and above are subjected to 10% Lottery tax. He said Africell will deduct this tax from all winnings in this category for on ward payment to the National Revenue Authority (NRA).

 

He said the company would like everyone to spread this good news all around and that the company believes that one of the best ways its can celebrate the countrys independence, is to generously reward its subscribers all over the country for their loyalty to the company.
