The alleged victim (name withheld) testifying in court before Magistrate Dr. Abu Bakarr Binneh Kamara of the Freetown Magistrate Court No.1 disclosed that she is in class five (5) and between January and September 2016, the accused Hassan Bangura used to give her lift to school. She added that on that fateful day whilst from school, she encountered a bad luck to onboard a vehicle. She went on to say that whilst she was struggle to board a vehicle, unfortunately for her the accused Hassan Bangura happen to stop his vehicle and quested that he offers her (alleged victim) a lift.
The alleged victim added that she accepted to board the vehicle of the accused Hassan Bangura and she went on to say that whilst going the accused offered her a drink (half rubber drink). The alleged victim disclosed to the court that she drank the drink that the accused gave to her and her head started turning and she became unconscious. The alleged victim went on to say that when she woke up she saw herself lying naked on the bed of the accused Hassan Bangura and she saw white liquid coming out of her private part and blood oozing out of her private part. She added that she went to the Goderich Rich Police Station and reported the matter to police. She went on to say that she was issued with a medical request form for examination and treatment at the Cottage rainbow Centre.
The alleged victim made statement to the Goderich Police station in Freetown.
Magistrate Dr. Abu Bakarr Binneh remanded the accused and adjourned the matter to Wednesday 10th May 2017.
