Sierra Leone mobile telecommunication company Africell and National Telecommunication Commission (NATCOM) has on Thursday 13th July 2017 lunched the communication pole and connect the people of Wara Wara Bafodia Chiefdom, Koinadugu District, Northern Sierra Leone, to the world of communication.
Chairman of occasion Mr. Alie Kamara who also doubles as Resident Minister Northern Region commended NATCOM Chairman Mr. Momoh Konteh for his relentless effort to see communication reaches the door step of every Sierra Leonean. He said in that light the people of Wara Wara Bafodia have decided to call him “MOMOH CONNECT”. He further thanked Africell Mobile Company for the great expansion and said the people of Wara Wara Bafodia will always be grateful to Africell.
Acting Paramount Chief Pa Abdulia Conteh expressed joy on behalf of his people to NATCOM Chairman Mr. Momoh Konteh and Africell, he also said it was a remarkable event in the history of Bafodia Chiefdom and his people will support Africell because they are the “best in the country,” Pa Abdulia Conteh concluded.
Managing Director Africell Mobile Company Sierra Leone, Mr. Shadi Gerjawi said it was not an easy job to bring communication to Wara Wara Bafodia Chiefdom, but Africell is always there to bring communication to the people and expand its network in the country. “The company will give the people of Wara Wara Bafodia one month Africell to Africell calls free and also free sim cards to the people,” he said.
He also thanked NATCOM Chairman Mr. Momoh Konteh for his relentless effort and the Government of Sierra Leone for creating the enabling environment to invest in the country.
