Energy Minister Calmly Reacts to Misinformation
It is most unfortunate and downright disheartening that those entrusted with the noble task of disseminating accurate information to the deserving public would choose to deliberately misinform the same; sometimes for personal or political reasons.

Sierra Leone Minister highlights Muslim - Christian Inter Religious Tolerance in her country
As President Koroma's appointed Minister of Social Welfare, Gender & Children's Affairs which oversees religious matters in the country, I visited and was warmly welcomed by Chief Imam Alhaji Hassan Karim and Assistant Chief Imam Alhaji Nazir King of the Jamiatul Atiq Masjid at Davies Street in Fourah Bay, Eastern Freetown. I decided to worship here as this is one of the mosques along Freetown's Foulah Town and Fourah Bay axis where my great-great grandfather Edward Wilmot Blyden (who died 1912) and his daughter, Madam Isa Blyden (died 1967) regularly prayed and also regularly taught Mohammedan Education despite being of the Christian faith.

Madam Zainab Sheriff Bangura For Lunsar Constituency
“Women will soon have political power. Woman suffrage and permanent peace will go together. When a country is in a state of mind to grant the vote to its women, it is a sign that that country is ripe for permanent peace. Women don’t feel as men do about war. They are the mothers of the race. Men think of the economic results, women think of the grief and pain.”_Dr. Aletta Jacobs,(1851-1929) Holland.

All for the sake of political capital, Sierra Leoneans are still abusing the social media to mislead the general public at home and tarnish the names of the ruling All People’s Congress ( APC ) Government and the country.

What is the cost of safety? WHY NATIONAL AND AIRPORT SECURITY MATTERS IN KENYA, SIERRA LEONE, AND THE REST OF THE WORLD
In an environment of ever increasing security risks faced by the nations of Africa and beyond, the government of Sierra Leone made the decision to improve and modernize its immigration controls to identify dangerous individuals who might attempt to enter the country with the intention of destabilizing the government and disrupting social order.

Mr. Sunil Saigal, there are 14 female Paramount Chiefs; not 11
The United Nations is a highly respected international body and its officers should ensure they do all possible to avoid dragging the UN through the mud. This brings me to how the UN Country Representative in Sierra Leone, Mr. Sunil Saigal was speaking yesterday February 28th 2017 up at Parliament during a certain event.

International funding over the national interest: National Elections Watch (NEW) to Apologize to the Nation
When DFID recently announced a whooping 5million Euros (about three million Pounds) for the local consortium of elections monitoring group, National Elections Watch (NEW), they (DFID) tied the disbursement of that funding to the commencement of the 2018 elections. This trick by DFID has caused some desperation amongst our compatriots in the NEW.

Defending March 7th 2018 Elections Date
I have noticed illogical constitutional interpretations and baseless legal arguments being thrown around by persons who deliberately are misinforming the world that the recent pronouncement of President Koroma about the date for next year’s elections is unconstitutional. Whilst no President is immune from making the occasional human mistakes, in this case the President’s announced date is 100% constitutional. Let me explain.

HON. BLYDEN SPEAKS AGAIN ON PARLIAMENT & LE707 MILLION
February 6th 2017: My attention has been drawn to yet another attempt to defame me by those who are scared of my growing popularity in Sierra Leone. However, our people are not fools. They know what's happening. Now, when they read a new 'scandal' on BLYDEN, they just shake their heads, smile and cheer me on to continue doing my noble work. But as Obama has warned politicians, all social media propaganda must be debunked.

On the 21st of April 2016, I returned home from the United States; it was my first time in Sierra Leone since President Ernest Bai Koroma (EBK) was elected as Head of State of the Republic of Sierra Leone. I was extremely emotional and equally excited about the changes and progress for our beloved country. As an American with dual citizenship, Sierra Leone was personally my first country of choice.
