Sierra Leone News : President Koroma sends Maya Kaikai on a Regional Tour
His Excellency the President of the Republic of Sierra Leone Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma has dispatched his Minister of Local Government and Rural Development to travel around the entire country in a bid to popularize the fact that Sierra Leone now has 190 Chiefdoms, 5 regions, 22 local councils, 16 electoral districts of which 14 districts are provincial districts.

Following publication of the 2017 National Primary School Examination (NPSE) results by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, out of 3,494 primary schools nationwide which entered for the 2017 NPSE, Gateway Daycare, Nursery and Preparatory School located at 81 Fort Street, off Circular Road was ranked 1st position with an average aggregate of 320.45.

A two man delegation from the University of Guinea has concluded a two - day working visit to the University of Sierra Leone. The purpose of the visit was to discuss a proposal for partnership between the two institutions. A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) will formalize the relationship. The MOU will cover proposed areas of collaboration including faculty and student exchange especially in the area of language studies.
