SPECIFIC PROCUREMENT NOTICE

1. The Government of Sierra Leone (GOSL) has received a loan/grant from the African Development Fund in the amount of sixteen million five hundred and sixty thousand United States Dollars (USD16,560,000) towards the cost of the Social Action Support Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds of the loan/grant to cover eligible payments under the contracts for the Construction/Rehabilitation of Community Health Post, Lockable Shops and Feeder Road in Kenema, Koinadugu, Pujehun and Western Rural Districts.

2. The National Commission for Social Action (NaCSA), implementing agency of the Social Action Support Project now invites sealed bids from prospective bidders for the following lots:

3. Complete set of the bidding documents must be obtained from the office of the Senior Director, Support Services, 5th Floor, NaCSA House, 14 16 Charlotte Street, Freetown upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Le 200,000 (Two Hundred Thousand Leones) or its equivalent in a freely convertible foreign currency. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the same address. Bidders shall not bid for more than two lots.

4. Bids shall be valid for a bid period of 120 (One hundred and Twenty) days after Bid Opening and must be

accompanied with the bid security required for each lot as indicated in the above table.

5. Bids must be delivered to the Office of the Senior Director, Support Services, 5th Floor, NaCSA House, 14-16 Charlotte Street, Freetown, on or before Monday, 5th April 2010 at 11:30 a.m and they will be opened in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend on Monday, 5th April 2010 at 12:00 p.m at the address shown below. These dates supersede all previous announcements of the Procurement Notice.
