Anti-Corruption and MIK Baryoh

There are grave injustices and sheer corruption going on in this country that are speedily hurtling us back to the pre-war days and some of us are not prepared to sit idly as people get their way in doing things that will breed serious bad blood and take this country back to war.

MIK Baryoh is owner of Global Times editted by Sorie Fofana. He has a case at Anti Corruption Commission that is still open. Now, MIK Baryoh wants to intimidate us on behalf of ACC. Oh what ‘integrity’ flows out of ACC these days... But we will talk and talk and write and write and write without fear. This is what is expected of journalists. Serious journalists take up issues affecting the national polity like mal-procured classroom blackboards and do not manufacture trash against personalities.

My friends in Liberia cannot believe the GUTTER MATERIAL that has been dedicated to pages of supposedly serious newspapers in this country over the past two days. I have however assured that these supposedly ‘serious newspapers’ are not at all run by serious journalists but by men putting their ‘mama’ to shame.

This newspaper has no time to waste on trivialities. We have serious work to do for this country! If people know they have such a strong case against Haja Afsatu Kabba, then why hire lynch mob to lynch the woman’s character and anyone who dares to stand by her? If you are sure of your case, then there is no need to panic like this. In the same vein, if Foreign Minister knows she is innocent of improperly hiring Bayraytay, there’s no need to go into such a state of panic; splashing lies and raw garbage all over the place like filthy, guttersnipe sewer rats!
