National Social Security and Insurance Trust
Tender for the Supply of vehicles

Procurement Number: NASSIT/ADMIN/VEH/10/003

The National Social Security and Insurance Trust has allocated funds for the procurement of vehicles and now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Supply of Vehicles as follows:

a. Four-wheel Drive Utility vehicles
b. Mini-bus Coaster

Bidding is open to all contractors who can demonstrate ability to perform within a short period of time.

Each bid must be submitted in triplicate and in a sealed envelope marked: TENDER FOR THE SUPPLY OF VEHICLES TO THE NATIONAL SOCIAL SECURITY AND INSURANCE TRUST addressed to the Director of Administration & Human Resources, National Social Security and Insurance Trust, NASSIT HOUSE, 32 Walpole Street, Freetown. Bids must be delivered on or before 3:00 p.m. on 20th April, 2010.

Interested bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding document at the address below between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Bidding documents may be purchased upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Le 500,000.00 per copy.

All bids must be accompanied by:

· bid security of not less than Le. 10,000,000.00
· a valid tax certificate;
· a valid NASSIT compliance certificate.
· a valid business licence

Bids will only be considered from companies that buy the bidding document. Therefore, bidders must ensure that the bidding document is bought under the name of the enterprise they will be bidding.

Bids will be opened on 20th April, 2010, at 3:00p.m in the presence of bidders’ representatives and bidders who choose to attend, at the NASSIT Conference Room, Ground Floor, 32 Walpole Street, Freetown. Late bids will be rejected and returned unopened to bidders.
