Sierra Leone Roads Authority Request for Expression on Interest

The Islamic Development Bank (herby referred to as the Bank) has been assisting its member Countries by way of making loans for financing productive projects and programmes. Within the Framwork of National Transport Strategy Policy (NTSIP), the Government of the Republic of Sierra Leone (hereinafter referred to as the "Borrower") has requested the Bank to assist in financing the Kenema- Pendembu Road Project (hereinafter referred too as the "Project"). To this effect the Bank has approved a loan to finance the audit. The Sierra Leone Road Authority intends to use part of this loan to eligible payments for contract of audit of the project.

The Sierra Leone Roads Authority now invites consulting firms to indicate their interest in providing the Services. The proposed audit will cover the project Management Unit PMU.

The Services include auditing of the financial statements of the project and expression of professional opinion on it.

Interested firms must provide a statement of capability and experience indicating that they are qualified to perform the service (brochure, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skill among staff, etc.) this invitation is open to local consulting firms with international affiliation.

The short list of six (6) firms will be compiled in accordance with the procedures set in the Islamic Development Banks Rules of Procedure for the use of Consultants.

Written Expression of interest must be delivered to the address below not later than 10:00am on 28th April.
