In Sierra Leone, Milton Margai Student remanded for Larceny

Jeff Kanu Student of Milton Margai, Congo Cross Campus appeared before Magistrate Bankole Shyllon of Court No.3 on Wednesday 23rd June 2010 at for Larceny.
According to the particulars of offence the accused on Saturday 29th May 2010 at Henry Street in Kingtom stole one Solar Panel valued at Le 600,000 and a Samsung mobile phone valued Le 300,000 all property belonging to Mariama Jalloh.
He pleaded not guilty to the charge and had no legal representation. He was therefore refused bail as the matter was adjourned to the 30th June 2010.
In related development, Ibrahim Sorie Kamara, a Collegiate School Pupil was arraigned before Magistrate Bankole Shyllon for conspiracy and larceny.
According to the offence the accused on Sunday 13th June this year conspired with other persons unknown at Crab Town Junction in Lumley and stole one black hang bag containing Le 7,240,000 that belonged to one Janet Lawson.
The accused person pleaded not guilty and was accordingly refused bail. The matter was adjourned to the 30th June 2010.
