Peep Editor Koker in Criminal Court today
Jul 1, 2010, 17:16

The acting Editor of Peep Magazine, Christopher Koker will appear in a Freetown Court this morning to answer to an initial two count charge for criminal and defamatory libel. The editor is to defend his last Fridayís front page article against the countryís only female newspaper Publisher, Dr. Sylvia Blyden.

"I have been too busy with the Haja Afsatu matter but since it is now coming to a close, it is time for me to turn attention to the highly defamatory articles that had been published against me but which I had been ignoring because I had needed to stay focused and had not wanted to be distracted," Blyden said.

Dr. Blyden explained that she was forced to take this particular line of action because Koker was asked to issue a formal apology and retraction which he has failed to do as of last evening. Meanwhile, we are reliably informed that Kokerís current two-count charge sheet might be amended to have even more additional criminal charges filed against him as well as other lines of as-yet-unspecified legal actions being planned for him by a team of determined lawyers.
