The Managing Director of Zenith Bank Sierra Leone, Madam Oby Ikeh Unekwe has profusely apologised in a pool of remorseful tears to Female Journalist Kadijatu Savage yesterday August 3rd 2010 at the Independent Media Commission offices along Siaka Stevens Street. Following the adept handling by veteran journalist Commissioner Christo Johnson who chaired the session which was witnessed by the parents of Kadijatu Savage, Madam Oby prostrated herself flat on the ground as she held the feet of Kadijatu and the feet of Kadijatuís parents. The deeply regretful Bank M.D. said she did not know what caused her to lose control and insult Kadijatu and Sierra Leone like she did. In a telephone call to Lawyer Jenkins-Johnston, she informed of her planned Public Letter of Apology to all concerned which Kadijatu now looks forward to accepting. Kadijatu also expressed thanks to all journalists who stood in solidarity with her plight.
