Tens of Zain subscribers have appreciated the company for being part of activities that are hectic and very lively. This was disclosed to the Awareness Times when our reporter took on the streets of Freetown to sound the views of subscribers on the Mama Promotion 2010.
Most of the subscribers spoken to said Zain has always brought unique opportunities for them. A subscriber, Mr. Lamin Turay said they are ready to take either the road to Tanzania or to witness the Mama event in Lagos, Nigeria in December. Mr. Turay disclosed that Zain has always taken its customers to be part of international events held in other countries.
“During the recently held World Cup tournament in South Africa, Zain subscriber witnessed the event live,” he said.
A student of IPAM, Stanley Vandy expressed interest in the promotion and described it as another divine favour from Zain. Stanley disclosed that most of his fellow students are alert to go to Mama 2010. He informed that their colleagues who have been to Zain events to other countries claimed that they were treated like VIPs. Stanley informed that to most of them Zain is not just a mobile company but a humanitarian institution that provides for every member of the society.
A street trader Mariatu Koroma told the Awareness Times that it will be a big boost for Zain subscribers who are going to be fortunate to be part of the Mama show in Tanzanai and Lagos.
To be part of the event Zain has launched an SMS promotion called ‘Zain change is in the air.’ All Zain subscribers have been licensed to register by sending their names to Mama short code 6262 for just 10 units. This will automatically help them to win 10 fantastic prizes like Le500, 000 and modern on weekly basis. The subscriber can also be fortunate to win a ticket for all expenses paid trips plus pocket money for the road to Mama Event in Tanzania and the Mama Event itself in Nigeria. Four subscribers two to Tanzania and two to Lagos are going to have tickets. A journalist is also expected to be part of the journey to Lagos if he/she provides the best coverage for Mama 2010.
