Vitafoam to invest $5 million in Sierra Leone

Vitafoam Company is all set to invest the sum of $5 Million in Sierra Leone in the next few years. This was revealed in a press conference held on 19thÂ November 2010 by the company’s Country Representative, Mr. Silva E. Anogie at their 11 Howe Street office in Freetown.
Mr. Silva E. Anogie told pressmen that his company is a leading Nigerian manufacturer of flexible, reconstituted and rigid foam products, with the largest foam manufacturing and distributing network throughout Nigeria. He said the company was incorporated on 4thÂ August 1962 and has been listed on the floor of the Nigerian stock exchange since 1978.
Mr. Anogie revealed that the main objective of establishing Vitafoam in Sierra Leone is to redefine and set the standards for foam production, quality sales and marketing in the Mano River basin. “We are proud to tell the public that the company has already commenced sales to the general public and would like to appoint trade partners in the country,” he noted, saying they are renowned for quality and affordable manufacturing.Â He informed that they have acquired land for the construction of a factory.
“Our company will be creating jobs for many Sierra Leoneans as 95% of the workers to be employed will be from this country,” he furthered, adding that they offer the best foam mattresses with a five-year guarantee.
