I.B Kargbo Launches Green Network in Sierra Leone

Minister of Information and Communications, Alhaji Ibrahim Ben Kargbo, has officially launched a new telecommunications company in Sierra Leone called Green Network Sierra Leone.
The launch, which took place on Tuesday 1stÂ February 2011at the company’s King Harman Road Headquarters in Freetown, attracted distinguished personalities including the Libyan Ambassador, His Excellency Mohamed Alharari, Sierra Leone’s Ambassador to China, Joseph Koroma, Chairman National Telecommunications Commission (NATCOM), Serray Timbo, and several other government functionaries.
Green Network’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Eimabruk S. Elgembari, described the launch as a mile stone in the development of mobile technology in Sierra Leone.
He disclosed the company’s commitment to partner with the Government of Sierra Leone to bring world-class telecommunication services to the people of Sierra Leone.
