Aug 24, 2015, 12:08
John Sahr Yambasu, Sierra Leoneís Ambassador to Russia, recognized by Russian Foreign Ministry as one of the best Ambassadors ever sent to Russia from the entire African continent and who is current Chair for African Ambassadors Group in Moscow, has been resident in Russia ever since October 2010 when he took up his enviable appointment as Sierra Leoneís Ambassador Plenipotentiary to Russia. The evident presence of Yambasu in Russia, is contrary to false local press reports that he abandoned post.
Meanwhile, according to official website of the Republic of Belarus to which Ambassador Yambasu is also accredited, the esteemed Sierra Leonean citizen has last Thursday August 20th 2015 met with the Valentin Rybakov, the Belarus Deputy Foreign Minister.
The two fine gentlemen discussed bilateral issues including trade and economic cooperation, development of legal framework of Belarus-Sierra Leone relations and also looked at ways to bolster cooperation in the field of education.
