Sierra Leone: In Defence of 'Monologue'

I am no admirer of David Tam Baryoh who hosts the Monologue radio show. Infact, after the way he recently maliciously butchered Manly-Spaineís oral submission to Supreme Court, I got alarmed that Monologue could set the country alight with his recklessness.
HOWEVER, due process is due process and the laws as enacted must be followed at all times.
I have closely studied the Act that established and empowers Independent Media Commission (IMC) and I honestly do not see any legal platform upon which a programme can be instantly suspended by the IMC pending an investigation. No, I donít see any.
This is why I today want to go down on record that I am against this arbitrary closure of Monologue by the IMC! Today, it is Monologue, tomorrow it could be Awareness Times. Wrong is Wrong is Wrong. Simple.
