Sierra Leone Human Rights Lawyer R.H.O. Robbin Coker Passes On

Roland Hubert Omodeyinde Robbin-Coker Esq., a long term Sierra Leone human rights lawyer and activist has, on Wednesday 19th August 2015, passed away at the age of 78 years. He died in London where he lived in later years of his life. 


Among other achievements, Robbin Coker served as a High Court Judge in The Gambia during which time, he was a great pillar of support to Sierra Leoneans who fled the rebel war.


He loved to help and support people in his community at home and abroad whenever he could. He was a passionate and devoted Old Boy of the Sierra Leone Grammar School.

 

He is survived by 3 sons and 2 daughters and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
