Feb 28, 2017, 17:16

It was a solemn moment at the Forest Hill Methodist Church in London yesterday 27th February 2018 as throngs of both British and Sierra Leonean citizens gathered to pay their last respects to the late Edward Babatunde Blyden.

The remains of Mr. Blyden, one of the distinguished sons of Sierra Leone who co-authored the National Pledge, will now leave London to be received at Lungi Airport on Thursday 2nd March 2017. He will be laid to rest on Sunday 5th March 2017. See below for more photos of the service in London.
