DIED: February 14th 2017 in London
TO BE BURIED: Sunday March 5th 2017 in Freetown
The Blyden Family regrets to announce the passing away of Mr. Edward Walter Babatunde Gustavus Blyden, which sad event took place in London, UK on the 14th of February 2017, aged 74. He is survived by his wife, Mrs Jolliminah Sylvia Blyden.

The remains of Late Edward Babatunde Walter Gustavus Blyden will leave London after a Service of Thanksgiving and Commendation at Forest Hill Methodist Church.
On arrival in Freetown, there will be a Vigil/Wakekeeping on Saturday 4th March, 2017 at 6pm at Zion Methodist Church,
Wilberforce Street.
The body will be laid out at the residence of his daughter Hon. Minister Dr. Sylvia Olayinka Blyden from 10:00am until 12pm on Sunday March 5th 2017 and then inside the Zion Methodist Church, Wilberforce Street from 12:30pm until 2:30pm.
Funeral and Communion Service will be then be held at Zion Methodist Church with Interment immediately after at the Race Course Cemetery, Freetown.
A Book of Condolence has been opened and sympathizers may call at residence of his daughter, Hon. Minister Dr. Sylvia Olayinka Blyden at:
