Sierra Leone News : Charliesco Donates Building Materials and PA System to Five Mosques

The Chief Executive Officer and owner of Charliesco Enterprise, Water Company, Rental Vehicles and Security Agency in the East and Central Part of Freetown, Charlie Williams on Friday 19th May 2017 donated eighty (80) bags of cement, two bundles of zinc, shovels, pickaxes, PA System, cash for work and plenty construction tools to five different Mosques and a youth group in Constituency 100 Kissy, East of Freetown.
Presenting the donations in a well-attended programme in Barracks Old Road Kissy, Charliesco as he is fondly called said he made the donations to the various groups today base on their request. “I am not rich but I have the passion to give the little I have. I believe in the philosophy of giving,” he said.

Charlie Williams (Charliesco) added that as the Month of Ramadan draws near and the rainy season as well, the leadership of those mosques made a request to him as their place of worship is seriously challenged with the coming rainy season. He continued that, he gave them his word and that is what he has fulfilled today.
Charlie William thanked God for His Grace and thanked the astute leadership of the ruling All Peoples Congress (APC) Party especially its Chairman and Leader, HE President Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma as he always told them to be supportive of their people.
Charlie Williams further expressed his desire to be the next Member of Parliament of Constituency 100 under the ticket of the APC with support from his people.
Giving a breakdown of the donations, the Secretary General of Friends of Charliesco, Mohamed Conteh disclosed that the 60 bags of Cement will go to Masjid Fattah II and Masjid Fattah I, 10 bags of Cement to Masjid Muhagireen, 10 bags of cement to Masjid Masthakin I, 2 bundles of zinc and a PA System to Masjid Masthakin II. The youth group, he provides them with tools and food for work. Mohamed Conteh gave estimates of the total donation in the sum of Ten Million Leones (Le 10, 000,000).
On behalf of the mosques that received the donation, the chairman of Masjid Fattah II, Hassan Kargbo, thanked Charlie Williams for what he described as a kind gesture, he however on behalf of the Muslim community in constituency 100, pledged to support Charliesco in his political ambition as they will support him with prayers so that he can do more for them.
