Sierra Leone News : “I am grateful to President Koroma for his inspiration”… CFS CEO avers

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of CFS construction company, Mr. Patrick Koroma has showers praises on H E Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma for his words of inspiration given to members of the timber association when they visited him sometimes in 2014 to plead for the ban of timber exportation to be lifted.

He said it was at that meeting that President Koroma when addressing them asked them to start thinking of other ways of empowering themselves, adding it was right from that meeting that he started thinking of establishing another business and it was that point that CFS was born.


“I started from a humble beginning and today I can boast that by adhering to the clarion call of President Koroma my business has been well established,” Mr. Koroma maintained, adding I have 3 offices in various parts of the city , 1 in Makeni and plans are on the way to have branches all over the country with over hundreds of youth employed.


With regards to the nature of his business, he said that they are dealers in all types of aluminum profiles such as: slide windows, doors, inches windows, plastic steel windows and doors, security windows and doors,  partition and we install office cabinets, cupboards, counters, shelves, railings, glass, curtain blinds, light weight steel construction, stainless steel construction,  household furniture’s, he noted, adding we are also doing clearing and forwarding, we supply reputable organization like the SLP, World Vision among others.


“Quite recently due to our reliability and credibility we have won the bidding for the supply of waterborne pipes to SALWACO for the three towns water project and the containers have started arriving at the Queen Elizabeth 11 Quay, the supply is in progress,” the vibrant CEO disclosed, adding it was a pre-financed project and it was based upon the love I have for my country and the trust for the government including HE Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma, the minister of Water Resources, the Permanent Secretary, the General Manager of SALWACO that I have decided to undertake the venture.


Mr. Koroma uses the opportunity to thank his Chinese partners for the confidence and trust bestowed upon him by coming to his aid for the supply of the items while registering his dissatisfaction over the Sierra Leonean banks.


“I am also having Chinese experts whom I am paying monthly working in my branches and they also training our youths how to operate the various machines,” he maintained while thanking President Koroma and his APC-led government for creating the enabling environment for local investors to operate by establishing the Local Content Policy.
