ADP Leader Speaks After Le 5 Million Bail in Segbwema

Chairman and leader of the Alliance Democratic Party (ADP), Mohamed Kamarainba Mansaray has yesterday Wednesday 28th June, 2017, spoken to Awareness Times Newspaper, after his release on a five (5) million Leones bail from a Prison in Kenema, Eastern Sierra Leone.


Whilst commenting, Kamarainba vowed to remain more vocal in expressing views of the voiceless in the country. He made this statement few hours after he was granted bail at the Kailahun Magistrate Court presided over by Magistrate George Borbor Samai.

Kamarainba as he is fondly called maintained that the huge turnout of youths in his solidarity is by no surprise as he said the young people of this country see him as their only hope. He added that the APC government has suppressed the young people of this country. “Everyone wants to hug me as they see me as a symbol of hope to them.” Kamarainba boasted.


He continued that he believed and practices the politics of fact and truth and that is why he keeps getting support from all facet of people in the country.


Hundred youths thronged the court premises to show solidarity

It could be recalled that Mohamed Kamarainba Mansaray and Mohamed Bangura both stand trial before Magistrate George B. Samai for alleged possession of stun gun and assault. The two accused persons were denied bail on June 21st this year and remanded at the Kenema Correctional Centre. They were both arraigned before Magistrate Samai of Kailahun Magistrate Court seated in Segbwema and were granted bail of Le5m and the matter adjourned to 13th July for continuation.
