INVITATION FOR BIDS
The Government of Sierra Leone has received a grant from the Investment Climate Facility for Africa (ICF) towards the Modernisation of the Office of the Administrator and Registrar General. Part of the proceeds is for the procurement of Information Technology software for the Database Management System and Operating system and now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition for Linux(x86), (Qty) 25 users with Media Packs, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.2 Server Basic Subscription.
Interested bidders may obtain further information and inspect bidding documents at the address below between the hours of 9:00a.m to 3:00pm from Monday to Friday, starting 22nd December 2010. Bidding documents may be purchased upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand Leones (Le250, 000).
Each sealed bid clearly marked “Bids for the supply of Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition for Linux (x86) (with media packs) for 25 users, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.2 Basic Subscription must be delivered in duplicate (original and one copy) as stated below, on or before 5th January, 2011 at 12:00 noon
All bids must be accompanied by the following:
· A Bid Security Bond of Le30,000,000.00 (Thirty Million Leones)
· A valid Business Registration Certificate
· A National Revenue Authority Tax Clearance
· A NASSIT Certificate
Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend on 5th January, 2011 at 12:00 noon in the Office of the Administrator & Registrar General, Roxy Building, and Walpole Street, Freetown. Late bids will be rejected and returned unopened to bidders. Bids shall not be submitted electronically or through facsimile. Bids submitted are to be valid for 90 days from the date of submission.
