National Secretary General of the ruling All Peoples Congress (APC) has confirmed that his party will rollout a massive sensitisation process on the new regions, districts, constituencies and wards around Sierra Leone.
Alhaji Dr. Ambassador Osman Foday Yansaneh made this disclosure in an exclusive interview he granted to Awareness Times Newspaper in evening hours of yesterday 10th August, 2017, immediately after the APC National Advisory Committee (NAC) meeting that was held at the party’s headquarters in Brookfields, Freetown.

Whilst elaborating on what was discussed in the NAC meeting, Dr. Yansaneh debunked widespread rumours that the APC NAC meeting was to discuss about the presidential successor of President Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma.
Dr. Yansaneh unreservedly denied any such. He said, “Nothing was discussed about the flagbearership of the APC party”, adding further, “We have published the criteria for our presidential candidates. When the time comes, we will look at the criteria and select a very appropriate person that will lead us to 2018 victory.”
The learned gentleman disclosed that the thrust of the NAC meeting was for the APC to put in place modalities to sensitise Sierra Leoneans as a whole and APC members especially on the new boundaries across the country. He said such will ensure APC members were better informed so as to enable the party to elect constituency and district chairmen shortly.
He confirmed the unchangeable month of September, 2017 for the APC National convention.
Dr, Yansaneh continued that the sensitisation process will kick start on Monday 14th August, 2017, and that it will target the now 5 regions, 16 districts, 132 constituencies and 511wards throughout the country.
